Turning ideas into working parts.
Prototyping, machining, and small-batch fabrication for R&D, manufacturing, and custom projects.
At Redtec, we focus on small, design-centric projects where prototyping, machining, and fabrication come together. We work hands-on from early concept through final build—whether it’s custom machine components, tooling, industrial prototypes, or unique, highly machined decorative pieces. Our goal is to keep projects practical, manufacturable, and tailored to each client’s needs.
From Idea to Working Part.

We bring ideas to life with prototyping, machining, and fabrication—backed by design support where it counts.
-
Prototyping
We support R&D teams, manufacturers, and inventors with hands-on prototyping and fabrication. From custom machine components and production prototypes to unique, highly machined pieces, we help turn early concepts into working parts. Our role is to fill the gaps, wherever you need us most.
-
Machining and Routering
We run modern CNC milling, turning, and routing equipment to produce high-quality parts in house. Whether you need a one-off component or a short production run, we deliver precise machining you can count on.
-
Fabrication and Assembly
Parts become useful when they come together. We handle welding, joining, finishing, and painting—taking components from raw pieces to completed assemblies. From simple weldments to multi-part builds, we finish projects to functional or decorative grade.
-
Design for Manufacturing
Maybe you know what you want to make but don’t have every detail worked out. Even if your “drawing” is just a sketch on the shop floor, we can turn it into something real. Our focus is on design for manufacturability—helping you move from idea to a part that works.
About Redtec
-
I’m Kevin Redekop, and I run Redtec as a small, design-centric shop focused on prototyping, machining, and fabrication.
My background in mechanical engineering gives me a strong foundation in practical design, and my strength lies in building parts and prototypes that are precise, manufacturable, and tailored to each client’s needs. From custom machine components and tooling to industrial prototypes and unique, highly machined decorative pieces, I work from early concept through final build.
At Redtec, the focus is always on projects that are small in scale but big in importance—delivered with care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
